Site Management Plan

Market Management can be contacted via 027 278 8806.

  1. No dogs allowed within the confines of the market.

  2. For all BOOKED Sites (permanent and casual) cancellation MUST be txt through

    Saturday night or no later than 7 am Sunday morning.

  3. Entry for ALL Stallholders

    - Prior to 7.45 am, entry is via Wallace Street.

    - No vehicle movement after 7.45 am, within the market.

    - Vehicles to be parked off-site in BNZ, Gecko, Sprig & Fern or Whitwell’s carparks.

    - NO PARKING in front of i-Site or behind Bay Pharmacy and Subway.

    - Permanent Stallholders may enter and exit via either Wallace St or Greenwood St.

    - Casual Stallholders entry via Wallace St and exit as above.

  4. SET UP PROCEDURE WITHIN THE MARKET:

    - Park vehicles as close as possible to site to enable movement of passing vehicles.

    DO NOT park in the middle of the aisle.

    - No goods, sandwich boards, furniture or gazebos are to protrude into the aisles.

    - Skateboards and bikes are prohibited throughout the market.

    - Use of 2.5m gazebos and umbrellas – must have sufficient weights to suit conditions.

    - Car parks are 2.5m wide and 6.5m long.

    - Food cart owners are responsible for tow bar to be stowed away safely during the markets.

    - Buskers with amplifiers are prohibited within the market. Buskers have a 30-minute slot

    then a break. Amplifiers can be used only in the library entrance.

  5. Accident by stallholder or member of the public – assess the situation and contact

    management. All stallholders need their own First Aid Kit and personal Public Liability

    insurance is recommended.

  6. PACK UP OF MARKET:

    Exit only after 1.15 pm. No vehicle movement prior to 1.15 pm.

    - DO NOT attempt to drive down a busy aisle – WAIT outside the market.

    - Utilise a person to assist driver in backing.

  7. No entry of vehicles by the public. It is the responsibility of all stallholders to promote safety

    within the market – speak to the driver or notify management.

  8. Smoke-Free / Vaping-Free Area throughout the entire market.

  9. WET DAY SET UP:

    It is the responsibility of all stallholders to ascertain projected weather conditions -

    if set up they will be liable for site fee.
